Ohio Wesleyan Student Scott Harmanis of Hilliard, OH, Inducted Into Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society
Ohio Wesleyan University inducted new members into its Eta Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at a campus ceremony May 11. The new inductees join a national honor society that counts 17 U.S. presidents, 40 Supreme Court justices, and more than 140 Nobel laureates among its members. Nationwide, only 10 percent of all U.S. colleges and universities have Phi Beta Kappa chapters, and each of the 286 chapters selects only 10 percent of their graduates to join annually through a highly selective, merit-based invitation process. Congratuations to all of the inductees!
Developing Future Leaders: Corina Cleveland and other Wittenberg students participate in Propel Ohio 2017
Committed to developing tomorrow's leaders today, Wittenberg University sent 10 students to this year's Propel Ohio 2017 summit. Propel Ohio, a leadership program promoting civic engagement and inspiring undergraduate students to grow into civic leaders in Ohio, took place from 9 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. at the University of Akron's Quaker Station on Nov. 17.

Ohio Wesleyan University honored its outstanding 2017-2018 student-athletes at the 14th annual Dale J. Bruce Scholar-Athlete Awards Dinner. The celebration, held April 19, recognized Battling Bishop athletes from Ohio Wesleyan's 23 varsity sports for their academic and athletic successes. Congratulations, Bishops!

Thirty Ohio Wesleyan University student-scientists shared the results of their 10-week summer science research projects recently at the university's 24th annual Patricia Belt Conrades Summer Science Research Symposium. The students presented information and answered questions about their research findings, which were documented in posters outlining each project.
